Microwave Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients
  

  • 230 gram macaroni uncooked
  • 360 ml hot water
  • 6 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 56 gram chopped onion
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • 500 ml milk
  • 300 gram processed cheese cut into cubes (about 3 cups)
  • ⅓ cup flour

Instructions
 

  • Combine macaroni, water, butter, onion, salt, and pepper in casserole.
  • Cover and microwave at full for 7 minutes and then at medium for 7 minutes, stir twice during cooking.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients, cover, and microwave at full for 20 minutes, or until macaroni is tender and sauce is thickened and bubbly, stirring every 3 minutes.
